Hydrophobic​

  • PSQ are silicone polymer with repeating unit of SiO1.5R.

  • N&M has techonolgoies to manufacture polymethylsilsesquioxane (PMSQ), polyphenylsilsesquioxanes (PPSQ), and hydbrids of PMSQ/Silica and PPSQ/Silica.

  • PMSQ particles with polydisperse size distributions are sold under commercial names of SESQ-ML101, SESQ-ML5, SESQ-ML3, and SESQ-ML1. The number indicates the median diameter of the particles except 101. The median diameter of SESQ-ML101 is approximately 8 micrometers.

  • SESQ-ML5M, SESQ-ML3M, and SESQ-ML1M are PMSQ particles with monodisperse PMSQ particles with 5, 3, and 1 micrometer diameters, respectively.​​​

Hydrophilic

  • Hybrids of PMSQ and silica are sold under SESQ-MH5, SESQ-MH3, SESQ-MH1, and SESQ-MH101. Also, monodisperse particles have commercial names of SESQ-MH1M, SESQ-MH3M, SESQ-MH5M, and SESQ-MH101M.
